Atlanta Woodcarvers Club Schedule for 2010
January 12
Ginny Gray led the group in carving a basswood boot emphasizing the use of the v tool in relief carving as well as rounding.
February 9
Dave Crum will guide us carving basswood eggs into caricature frogs, cats, hedgehogs or other critters using palm tools in a project that is one of continuous cross-grain carving.
Also in February :
AWC will host a 3 Day Caricature Carving Workshop with Steve Brown, nationally known carver.

Don Cramer will instruct us in producing a small relief carving of a covered bridge, suitable for framing and hanging. The first evening we will carve the basic shape with perspective and Thursday afternoons at Tucker Chippers are a great opportunity for hands-on help with finishing. (Part 1)
